ABOUT THE MEATH FOUNDATION
The Meath Foundation, which is a successor of the Meath Hospital, was
founded to support research and education in the Healthcare area and
is dedicated to improving health outcomes for patients, and the
experience of patients and staff in Tallaght University Hospital
(TUH), Dublin. It achieves this by providing sustainable financial
support for world class research, education, quality improvement,
innovation, and the arts in TUH, which is a teaching hospital of
Trinity College, Dublin.
The Foundation passionately believes in the value of Healthcare
research and education. It is the platform on which better services,
better care and better patient outcomes in a safe environment all sit.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Meath Foundation is now seeking to recruit a driven, Chief
Executive Officer (CEO) who will be responsible for ensuring effective
operations and that strategic decisions of the Board of Directors are
implemented. This includes overseeing and managing the operational
day-to-day activities of the Foundation with the support of an
administrative team, along with maintaining positive working
relationships with Tallaght University Hospital and other relevant
stakeholders.
The successful candidate will report to the Chairman of the Board and
will be responsible to the Board of Directors. You will haven strong
relationship building and nurturing skills, to build a positive
working relationship with the Chair and Chairs of Board Committees, to
engage with the team and to extend the positive relations with the
wider TUH community. Working along side the board you will have review
opportunities and challenges to inform the future direction of the
Foundation and maintain it?s work into the future.
This role requires a familiarity with the statutory and regulatory
obligations on charitable organisations, as well as experience
managing implementing financial procedures. If you?re an experienced
manager with good communication skills, a good awarness of governance
and experice in a lead project management position, this could be the
role for you!
